Grant Adams grew up in central Iowa, and then moved to Alaska in 2000 to attend college at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. After completing his degree in Photojournalism with a minor in Geology, he attended the Chapman school of Seamanship in Florida where he completed a professional mariner training program. Grant then returned to Alaska to begin his career in mineral exploration where he has been working for the past seven years. Grant has been involved in a variety of roles in the mineral exploration field including core drilling, reverse circulation drilling, sonic drilling, soil sampling programs, placer exploration, and field logistics. Outside of work Grant enjoys hunting, fishing, boating, woodworking, and photography.
